It all started in 2015 when Nicolò Oddi bought an oversized cardigan at the Market Rose Bowl in Pasadena, California and gave it to his sister Carlotta before she left on a road trip to Hawaii. When looking through the photos of the trip, they noticed the cardigan in all of them, day or night, beach or city. The siblings, passionate about vintage knits, founded Alanui, an Italian brand with a folk mood and boho chic aesthetic.
