Stivali celebrates Women’s Day with three irresistible names from the universe of Fashion, Art and Design.
In an intimate interview with Stivali, stylist Tânia Soeiro explores Fashion as a common thread between family, work, and sorority in both.

Stivali is synonymous with… Family, because we are always welcomed in a welcoming way and with a smile on our faces.
The last thing you bought and loved… A jewel wallet, from Anna Dello Russo’s collaboration with Rosantica.
Can you tell us about the most special piece in your closet? A fur coat that belonged to my dear grandmother. Whenever I wear it, I feel hugged.
Which women do you admire? I admire women like my mother, who both in happy moments and in the most challenging phases, never stopped taking care of themselves. Always impeccably made up, arranged and perfumed, but above all, supporting and uplifting other women.
The best of your work… First, it allows you to raise women’s self-esteem and make them feel like they are the best version. Then, surely the lack of monotony. One day I can be at Stivali choosing dresses for a celebrity to wear on a red carpet, and the next scouring second-hand clothing warehouses looking for the best pieces to dress shipwrecked people on a desert island, building tails for mermaids or spacesuits for astronauts.
The most memorable piece of clothing you’ve ever bought for one of your projects… A Dries Van Noten set, with an incredible shine and movement, that I bought at Stivali to dress one of the most epic Portuguese actresses – Maria do Céu Guerra.
What advice would you give to young women who are inspired by your career and would like to work in fashion styling? To always give their best, without losing their enthusiasm and passion for Fashion. Let them vibrate, take risks and pamper their clothes as if they were true works of art. And above all, that they value themselves and have fun styling.
What meaning do you attribute to International Women’s Day? Several! Struggle, conquest, union and celebration. It’s a day when I make a point of always being with some of the women in my life.

Tânia Soeiro has been a stylist for over 20 years and is dedicated to different creative areas. She collaborates with editorial projects, does image consulting and designs pieces for Portuguese fashion brands. In the audiovisual universe, she is responsible for the styling of videos and advertising campaigns and also short and feature films. She has an aesthetic sensibility that makes her share her devotion to fashion with her interest in photography.
